The Quaking Aspen.
An unassuming tree. I love the white bark. The green leaves that turn to yellow, to red, to brown.
The sounds the leaves make in the wind.
So very relaxing.
This post is inspired by the numerous Populus tremuloides found in South Lake Tahoe where I lived for about a month in the fall of 2019. Initially noticed while hiking, I learned to love the sound they made as I explored the mountainous area.
